ABG Shipyard posts 6.68 pc growth in Q4

Mumbai, Jun 18 (UNI) ABG Shipyard Limited posted a 6.68 per cent increase in net profits at Rs 32.98 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 30.93 crores in the previous year.

Net sales for the quarter rose by 0.15 per cent to Rs 193.06 crore from Rs 192.78 crore in the corresponding quarter.

For the full year, Net sales grew to Rs 704.36 crore, up by 30.02 per cent from past year margin of Rs 541.74 crore in FY06 while the net profit for full-year surged by 38.97 per cent to Rs 116.29 crore as against Rs 83.68 crore in the same period last year, a company release said here today.

The director board recommended a dividend of 15 per cent for the shareholders, the release added.
