16 injured in UP road mishap

Badaun, June 18 (UNI) At least three people, including father-son, were killed and 16 grievously injured after a tractor-trolley, they were travelling in, overturned in Jarifnagar area here this night.

Superintendent of Police Prasad Desouza said Kaksi village resident Satyapal and kins were returning from Rajghat after 'mundan' ceremony of the former's five-year-old son Kaptan.

Wherein, the speeding vehicle overturned, killing Satyapal (42), Kaptan and his son on the spot.

The injured were admitted to hospital, where the condition of six was stated to be critical.

According to hospital sources, two severely injured had been referred to the Aligarh Medical College.
