UP rewitnesses dry and humid weather

Lucknow, June 17 (UNI) After four days of sporadic rainfall which provided much-needed respite to the people of Uttar Pradesh from the blistering heat, the weather today was dry and humid.

The Lucknowites, who had been enjoying pleasant weather since last four days, were posed with hardships due to rising humidity of 89 per cent.

Light to moderate rains occurred at Varanasi, Allahabad and Agra divisions.

The state capital recorded 36 degrees C, which was three degrees below normal.

In the last 24 hrs, Allahabad and Varanasi recorded 1 cm and 2 cm rainfall respectively.

The weatherman has forecast rain/thundershowers in Bareilly, Allahabad, Moradabad and Agra divisions and also at few districts like Jhansi, Kanpur, Lalitpur, Etawah, Farukhabad and Banda in the next 24 hrs.
