Rajiv Institute to be set up in city: APCC

Jhansi Lakshmi Pranganam, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President K Keshava Rao today announced that Rajiv Institute of Public Administration would be established in Hyderabad to tap the leadership qualities of the youth.

Addressing Congress workers at a training camp at Kompalli village near Hyderabad, Dr Rao said by the year-end, Congress party would have its office in its own buildings in all the districts in the state.

Parliament member and former Chief Minister N Janardhana Reddy said though the government was doing a lot of good things, there was no proper publicity. ''We should work together if the party again wants to emerge victorious in the next elections,'' he added.

Another Parliament member V Hanumantha Rao advised ministers to come to the party office once in a while to cheer up the party workers.

Mr Hanumantha said that the ministers, who were hanging around the party office when the party was out of office, were not visiting it after becoming ministers. If the ministers re-visit and talk to the workers they would feel happy and work with re=doubled vigour for the success of the party, he added.
