Pre-monsoon rains cool Delhiites for 3rd day

New Delhi, June 17: People of the national capital woke up to heavy rains today for a third consecutive day.

The city witnessed 22.2 mm of rainfall till 0830 hrs today.

Beginning early in the morning, rain has not stopped although the downpour made the morning extremely pleasant. It also brought along intolerable level of humidity.

According to the weather department, the humidity level stood at 95 per cent. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 34 degrees Celsius and 28.7 degrees respectively.

The Met department has predicted higher humidity and less rains in the day.
