Nine Maoists arrested in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, June 17 (UNI) Police today arrested nine activists of CPI (Maoist) from Khaira village in the district and recovered some fire-arms from them.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Sinha said acting on a tip off, a joint team of Special Auxiliary Police(SAP) and Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) raided a hideout at Khaira village and arrested the extremists.
A country made gun, a rifle, two pistols, 15 detonators, two double barrel guns were seized from them.
