Naxal commander nabbed in Chhattisgarh
Patthalgaon, Chhattisgarh, June 17 (UNI) A self-styled naxal commander has been arrested in Jashpur district's Dadgaon.
''Mushtaq alias Langda had a reign of terror in Jashpur and Sarguja districts besides neighbouring Jharkhand. He threatened and extorted money from contractors and traders. During interrogation, Mushtaq confessed to extorting money from several government officials in Jashpur district,'' Jashpur's Superintendent of Police Akbar Ram Korram said today.
Four crude guns, a revolver and live rounds were seized during yesterday's arrest.
