Married man commits suicide along with beloved

Hoshiarpur, Jun 17 (UNI) A married man and his beloved committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance here today.

Bodies of Naresh Kumar (30) and Meena Sharma (21) were found near Balmik Ashram, Old Tanda Road here this evening.

Police said Naresh Kumar, who was already married, lived as a tenant in the house of Meena's family. He had an affair with Meena and was thrown out of the house when her parents came to know about it two months ago.

On June 15, Meena had eloped with Naresh Kumar and their whereabouts were not known since then.

After recovering their bodies today, police sent them to local Civil Hospital for postmortem.
