Man jumps from Golghar, sustains injuries

Patna, June 17 (UNI) A man was severely injured after he allegedly jumped from the top of 'Golghar', the city's famous landmark, near the Gandhi Maidan here today.

Police said Guddu, 17, a resident of Pirbahore Police Station area here, jumped from a height of more than 100 ft.

He was immediately rushed to the Patna Medical College and Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.

The doctors attending on him said he had recieved multiple injuries and that both his legs were fractured.

Meanwhile, a case of attempted suicide had been lodged against the injured in the local police station. However, the reason was yet to be ascertained.
