Govt reaches agreement with Siddha-Ayurveda college management

Thiruvananthapuram, June 17 (UNI) The Kerala Government has finally reached an agreement with the Siddha-Ayurveda College Self-financing College Management on the admission and fee structure to self financing colleges in this sector.

A decision in this regard was today reached at a meeting with the Management associations by Education Minister M A Baby.

According to the agreement, the admission would be on the basis of 50:50 ratio.

As per the agreement, the annual fee in the merit seat would be Rs 15,000, besides an interest free fixed deposit of Rs 1,00,000 by each student.

In management quota, the fees would be Rs 95,000, while in NRI quota it would be the maximum of Rs 2,00,000.

The management would have the final right to admit students either from the list of the government entrance or from the list of entrance by the management consortium.

However, from next year onwards the admission would be fully from the government list.
