Girl elopes with lover in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, June 17 (UNI) A girl, who studied in Australia and came to her home in Punjab on a vacation, today allegedly eloped with her friend from Gurgaon.

Though the parents of Ratinder Kaur have lodged a disappearance complaint, Police said she was in love with a Muslim boy and thus fearing opposition from their families the couple eloped.

Ratinder is a resident of Ropar while the boy -- Saifi Hashmi -- lives in Gurgaon.
