Decline in social life affected media: Kailash Joshi

Bhopal, June 17 (UNI) Expressing concern over constant decline in social life, BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kailash Joshi today said that it impacted on both politics and media.

''However, the situation is not extremely disappointing and there is margin for improvement. In this era of globalisation, the concerns of both sectors have changed and both have lost sight of their objectives,'' he said at 'Politics and Media', a symposium marking the 24th founding day of the Madhav Rao Sapre Memorial Newspapers Museum and Research Institution here.

Socialist thinker and Chief Speaker Raghu Thakur felt that present day journalists and political leaders were losing to capitalism.
