CPI(M) demands White Paper on govt lands

Vijayawada, June 17 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) Andhra Pradesh unit secretary B V Raghavulu today demanded the state government to release a White Paper on the extent of government land and the distribution of the same to the landless poor.

Mr Raghavulu was speaking to reporters here after visiting lands which the party had occupied through agitation at Payakapuram, Rajarajeswaripet, Bhavaji Matham and Patamata in the city outskirts.

The party has been organising land occupation programme from May 16 as part of its agitation struggle to occupy lands for distribution to poor.

UNI
