Body of youth recovered from Vishwamitri River

Vadodara, June 17 (UNI) The body of a 22-year-old unidentified person was recovered this morning from the Vishwamitri River near Newsama area of the city.

The body was found floating by local people who informed the police this morning.

Crocodiles in the Vishamitri River had been devouring the body when it was sighted by the people. The crocodiles were driven away and the body recovered, police said.

Police do not suspect any foul play and believe the youth was drowned to death while bathing.
