AP govt to review state progress from June 21: CM

Hyderabad, June 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said he would review the implementation of poll promises and progress taking place in each district on the third thursday of every month from June 21 in the state.

Participating in a review meeting on the state's progress with concerned officials at the camp office here, Dr Reddy said he would interact with the District Collectors through video-conference to review the development works.

Stating that he would also review the implementation of promises made during the elections and would visit the districts, the Chief Minister said 69 per cent of the promises were implemented successfully, out of 2,433.

The implementation of INDIRAMMA scheme, National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP), old-aged monthly pensions, Prime Minister special rehabilitation package and other developmental programmes would be reviewed in the first video-conference with the district officials on June 21.
