Young bowlers should perform well in the tour of Ireland and England

Bangalore, June 16 (UNI) Terming the forthcoming Ireland and England tour will be a tough challenge, Team India skipper Rahul Dravid said that young bowlers should take full advantage of ODI against South Africa and practice matches scheduled during the event. .

"Young bowlers have lot of energy and would get sufficient time to get prepared well for the Test series against England, it is crucial for the team. Good fast bowlers for the first test against England is crucial for us", he added.

Talking to newsmen at the conclusion of the four-day Skill Camp for Ireland bound Team India players, he said that South Africa is also a good team, they were number two and have the advantage of playing at neutral pitches.

Mr Dravid while expressing confidence to perform well in the series the winning note at the end of the tour would also boost the morale of the Team- India, he said.

When asked about the composition of the team in playing tests against England giving weitage to more number of bowlers he said that it would depend on the condition of the pitch. Referring to Dhoni's appointment as his deputy, he said that "Dhoni's elevation was a reward for his performance in the field both as keeper and also with the bat and looking for his support to work together both on and off the field."
