'The Sunday Indian' launched in 8 more languages

Mumbai, June 16: Planman Media has launched 'The Sunday Indian' in eight more languages thus making it the only publication in India to be available in all major Indian languages.

With the launch of magazine in eight languages - Kannada, Assamese, Punjabi, Urdu, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya - yesterday, 'The Sunday Indian' has become India's first magazine to be circulated in 13 different languages.

In October last year, the magazine was launched in five languages English, Hindi, Bangla, Tamil and Gujarati.

All the editions will feature national, international content, politics, lifestyle, economic trends, said founder and Editor-in-Chief of Planman Media Prof Arindam Chaudhary while speaking on the occasion.

Planman Media Editor Prof A Sandeep was also present on the occasion.

Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil in his speech at the launch function congratulated the media house for launching such a huge network of 13 editions and said this network will help them to reach to the people in every nook and corner.

A special issue of 'The Sunday Indian' titled 'The 100 most controversial Indians' was unveiled on the occasion.
