Several feared killed as minibus plunges into deep gorge in Ramban

Jammu, June 16 (UNI) Several people are feared killed as a minibus plunged into a deep gorge in Ramban area of Jammu and Kashmir today, police sources said.

However, unofficial reports said at least 15 passegers had been killed in the accident, which occured when a jampacked minibus rolled down into a deep gorge at Makarkot, under the jurisdiction of Ramban police station.

A police team has rushed to the spot.

Six bodies had been recovered, sources said, adding the reasons behind the accident are yet to be ascertained.

Details are awaited, police said.
