Private vehicle catches fire at NSCB Intl airport

Kolkata, Jun 16 (UNI) A vehicle of a private hotel company which was loading food stuff onto an aircraft of an early morning flight at NSCB international Airport, suddenly caught fire.

Airport officials said the fire erupted from a short circuit in the engine. The incident occurred at around 0545 hours, according to the security officials.

Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

No damages had been reported. The affected vehicle was pulled away and the flight left as scheduled.
