Kandasamy to be sworn in as Pondy Minister June 17

Puducherry, June 16 (UNI) Bahour Congress Legislator M Kandasamy will be sworn in as a minister, the sixth in the Rangasamy Cabinet, here tomorrow.

Lt Governor Mukut Mithi would administer the oath of office and secreacy to Mr Kandasamy at a simple function at the Rajnivas here at 1120 hrs tomorrow, according to party sources.

Mr Kandasamy had got the opportunity to become a minister following the resignation of Mr P Angalan following a family quarrel.

A Dalit, Mr Kandasamy was the social welfare minister in the P Shanmugham Cabinet.
