I will not be rubber stamp, husband my pillar of strength: Pratibha

New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) UPA-Left Presidential nominee Pratibha Patil today asserted that she would not be a rubber stamp and said her husband is a pillar of strength for her.

Ms Patil told a television channel she has her own individual personality and clarified that being a woman does not mean she would be a rubber stamp.

Ms Patil said her husband Devisingh Shekhawat has been a pillar of strength for her and would remain so in the future also.

Ms Patil earlier met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi and plans to call on Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, her likely opponent in the Presidential race, in a day or two.
