Drug peddler arrested, 3 kg charas, 300 gm smack recovered

New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) The Delhi police have recovered three Kg charas and 300 gm of smack, worth approximately Rs 40 lakh in the international market, from Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi.

Ramesh (49) was arrested from the Old Delhi railway station last evening where he had gone to deliver the drug.

Three Kg charas and 300 gm smack were recovered from his possession.

Interrogation of the accused revealed that he had been active in drug peddling for the last one year.

A case has been registered against Ramesh, a resident of Kidwai Nagar in Delhi, under the NDPS Act.
