Defamation case against Congress leaders adjourned to July 7
Shimla, Jun 16 (UNI) A local court today adjourned the hearing in a defamation suit filed by former Himachal Pradesh chief minister P K Dhumal against former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and senior Congress leader Motilal Vohra to July seven.
The court deferred the case to July seven after Mr Dhumal's counsel sought time.
Another defamation suit by Mr Dhumal against Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma is already fixed for July 7.
The cases were filed against the Congress leaders for making allegations of corruption against Mr Dhumal while addressing a rally during the assembly elections in 2004.
Mr Singh and Mr Vohra have already filed petitions in the court seeking exemption from personal appearances.
