BJP slams J'khand govt for crisis of food grains and kerosene oil

Ranchi, Jun 16 (UNI) Alleging that food and supply department of Jharkhand government had become centre of corruption and black marketiers the BJP today said people throughout the state were facing acute crisis of food grains and kerosene oil.

Party's spokesperson Biranchi Narayan said no steps had been taken to provide adequate amount of food grains and the quantity allocated to Jharkhand was even not lifted by the state government.

Mr Narayan alleged that food and supply department had become centre of black marketiers adding the minister concerned was limited to announcement only.

The BJP leader alleged that state government had distributed BPL cards to a section of people that too was full of flaws.

He said kerosen oil had gone out of reach of commoners as the price of one litre of kerosene had risen to Rs 35 and that too was not available easily.
