13 killed, 7 injured in Ramban minibus accident

Jammu, June 16 (UNI) As many as 13 passengers were killed today and seven others injured when a minibus skidded off the Jammu-Srinagar national highway and rolled down into a deep gorge at Ramban, a senior police officer said.

The minibus was on its way from Ramsoo when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve at makarkote on NH-LA and the vehicle plunged into the deep gorge.

The injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital at banihal.
