Techie's death police to take action on Gas Geyser Company

Bangalore, Jun 15 (UNI) The City police will initiate action against the owner of a Working women hostel and a Gas Geyser Company over the death of the 27-year-old software engineer, who died in November last year, following suffocation due to emission of poisonous gas while taking bath inside the hostel.

Investigation officer Rajanna said the victim Lalitadevi was found dead in her hostel bathroom and the post mortem report had confirmed that the inhaling of the poisonous gas emitted by a Gas Geyser caused the incident.

He said that he had received a complaint from the relatives.

Meanwhile, Muralikrishna, the relative of the deceased had complained to the City Police Commissioner Neelam Achutha Rao stating that the police had failed to take any action against the owner of the hostel and also Gas Geyser for causing the death.

Mr Muralikrishna also have urged the police commissioner to take action against the investigation officer Mr Rajanna, who is the circle Inspector of Subramanya Nagar police station, for his negligence in filing case against the two accused.
