Rajni fans to gift gold for information on pirated CDs

Puducherry, June 15(UNI) The Rajni fans association today announced a reward of five sovereigns of gold jewellery to any person who provides correct information about the sale of pirated CDs of the film ''Sivaji'' which had a worldwide release today.

Fans association president Rajani Shanker said here super star Rajnikant himself would hand over the reward to the person who provides the information on the illegal sale in the union territory.

Meanwhile, the fans celebrated the release of the film this morning in three theatres here.

Police arrested two persons for allegedly selling tickets in black market.

According to police Rajesh (26) and Selvam (32) of Jawaharnagar here were selling tickets meant for the fans association for Rs 1000.

Police swung into action and arrested the duo and seized Rs 5000 from them, besides five tickets which were meant to be sold in black market.
