Humidity add to woes in scorching Rajasthan

Jaipur, June 15 (UNI) With the rise in humidity level, the temperatures in various parts of Rajasthan have gone down one to two degrees.

Churu, which has been sizzling for the past few days, recorded the state's highest 43.1 degree Celsius today, which is lesser than yesterday's 44.8.

Meanwhile, the heat toll has risen to 42 with the death of four people in Bikaner district yesterday.

Although the tenmperatures have shown a fall, the hot winds and scorching sun are providing no respite to the people.

The state capital recorded 41.8 degree celsius and the bright sun and humidity only increased the intensity of the heat.

According to weather office, Bikaner recorded 41.2, Jaisalmer 39.8, Sriganganagar 38.4, Jodhpur 38.7 and Dabok 37.2 degree Celsius.

The forecast for the next 24 hours is duststorms with thunderstorms in some parts of the state while Jaipur is expected to have a partial cloud cover and may also experience a duststorm.
