Actor files complaint of manhandling against former cop

Mumbai, June 15 (UNI) Noted film and television actor Anjan Srivastav has filed a complaint of 'manhandling' with the Goregaon police against retired joint commissioner of Mumbai Traffic police Sunil Vaidya.

Anjan, who shot into fame with his serial ''Wagle ki Duniya' on Doordarshan, told UNI that Vaidya caught him by the neck, pushed and threatened him over a car parking issue in the 'Vasant Galaxy' complex in Goregaon (West), where he resides.

''On thursday morning at 0400 hrs, I returned after shooting of my television serial 'Virrudh' when I found another car parked at my usual place and hence I parked my car behind the vehicle in my parking place. The owner of the car, who resides in the neighbouring building in the same complex, could not take his vehicle out because of my car. Vaidya came and caught me by the neck pushed and threatened me asking me to remove my car,'' Anjan said.

The actor said he had filed a complaint against Vaidya with the society chairman also.
