NDA partners to meet in Delhi on June 18 for Prez candidate

Pune, Jun 14 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today said the NDA partners will meet in New Delhi on June 18 to discuss the Presidential candidate.

Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a function here, Mr Advani said, ''The NDA partners will meet in New Delhi on June 18 to discuss the Presidential candidate.'' ''This is the first time in the country's history that the ruling alliance is not unanimous on its choice of the Presidential candidate'', the Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, said adding that ''this is unprecedented.'' Mr Advani was in the city to attend the inauguration of a memorial to mark the centenary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Maharshi Karve.
