HC concerned over death of children in lightining strike
Ranchi, Jun 14 (UNI) Expressing concern over the death of five school children in a lightining strike here yesterday, Jharkhand High Court today observed why the state government did not take any measures in the rural schools.
During a course of argument on juvenile boards, the court's attention was brought to the death of these school children in lightning as the school was not equipped with ''arrester'' to nullify the impact of such natural attacks.
The court took serious view of it and observed ''Why the state government do not do anything for the rural areas to avoid such accidents.
''Why don't they put lightining conductor in the prone areas,'' the court observed.
