Chinese embassy mum on recovery of body

Etah, June 14 (UNI) The district administration has been thrown in to a tizzy, after getting no reply from the Chinese embassy over the recovery of the body of a Chinese's resident under mysterious circumstances few days back here.

''The body of Linchu Sem (78) was recovered under mysterious circumstances from Kasganj area of the district on June 6. The passport recovered from his possession revealed that he was the resident of Jenshu city in China, '' Senior Superintendent of Police R P Singh said.

Linchu had entered India from Nepal border touching Maharajganj district, while his visit to India still remained a puzzle.

His body was kept at Agra's medical college by the administration. But the hospital authorities denied to keep the body anymore.

Meanwhile, the Chinese embassy had maintained silence on the issue.
