Hyderabad, June 14 (UNI) Less than 48 hours after issuing an Order to amend its earlier ''enabling'' Order on the repatriation of non-locals from Telangana, the Andhra Pradesh Government today withdrew both GO 399 and 415 to stem protest of the Opposition and a section of the ruling party, which saw it as an attempt to possibly waterdown the implementation of GO 610 in its letter and spirit.

State Chief Secretary J Hari Narayana issued GO 423 this afternoon to cancel GO 399 of June six and GO 415 issued on June 12.

The cancellation of the two orders came in the wake of the State Government's announcement to implement by June 30 GO 610, issued two decades back to ensure implementation of the Presidential Order on the repatriation of non-local Government employees from Telangana on the basis of the six-point formula. The validity of the Order had, however, expired in 1995.
