14,000litres of dulterated kerosene-chemical seized

Varanasi, June 14 (UNI) Police here today arrested a person with a large quantity of adulterated kerosene, chemicals and solvents from Badagaon area.

On being tipped off, a raid was conducted in Khathruhi village, following which 14,000 litres of adulterated kerosene, chemicals and solvents were seized, police said.

A man named Anil was arrested from the spot, who later admitted that he sold adulterated kerosene and diesel.

Investigations are on.
