Sandalwood thief beaten to death

Mandsaur, MP, June 13 (UNI) A sandalwood thief was beaten to death and another was severely injured by the residents of Karoli village in this district, police said today.

Bagadiram and Shobharam were caught by villagers on Monday night.

Bagadiram was killed during the incident while Shobharam was admitted to hospital.

Another accomplice, Radhey Shyam, however, managed to escape.

The accused hailed from Rajasthan's Chittaudgarh district.

They had come to the village to steal sandalwood.
