Madhya Pradesh: Sandalwood thief beaten to death

Mandsaur, MP, June 13: A sandalwood thief was beaten to death and another was severely injured by villagers at Karoli village in this district, police said today.

Bagadiram and Shobharam were caught by villagers on June 11 night. Bagadiram was killed during the incident.

Shobharam was admitted to hospital.

Another accomplice, Radhey Shyam, escaped taking advantage of darkness.

The accused hailed from Rajasthan's Chittaudgarh district.

They had come to the village to steal sandalwood.
