No effect of Indian strike in Amritsar

Chandigarh, June 13 (UNI) The nationwide strike call given by Indian ground staff has not had any major impact at the Raja Sansi interntional airport at Amritsar.

Amritsar Airport officials, said that there have been no cancellations of Indian flights today and the airport is functioning as usual. They said that the Delhi-Amritsar-Toronto this morning arrived and left as per schedule.

Officials at Chandigarh airport said that the Delhi-Chandigarh flight arrived here as per schedule They said that though the ground staff was on strike but passengers did not face any inconvenience.

Howevere the Indian offices at Amritsar and Chandigarh did not respond to telephone calls from passengers or from others.
