TN: Karunanidhi indisposed, admitted to hospital

Chennai, June 13: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi was today admitted to a private hospital due to indisposition.

Police sources told UNI that Mr Karunanidhi was admitted to the hospital at about 0930 hrs due to a mild swelling in his leg.

Mr Karunanidhi was scheduled to leave for New Delhi last evening to finalise the UPA candidate for the ensuing Presidential polls.

But he had cancelled it at the last minute.

Official sources said Mr Karunanidhi had only deferred his visit.

He was scheduled to be in the national capital for three days from today to finalise the UPA nominee for the Presidential polls.
