HP government orders transfer of IPS and HPS officers
Shimla, Jun 13 (UNI) In a major reshuffle of police officers in the state, the Himachal Pradesh Government today ordered the transfer of six IPS and eight HPS officers, official sources said.
Inspector General of Police (Hqrs) O C Thakur has been transferred as Inspector General of Police (Criminal Investigation Department).
The sources said he would also supervise the investigation of cases having inter state and inter district ramifications.
Inspector General I D Bhandari as been transferred as IG CID, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), while IG B N S Negi IG has been transferred as IG State Vigilance and newly created post of ACB (Intelligence).
The sources said Hamirpur SP Gyaneshwar has been transferred as SP Kangra while SP Third IRB Asif Jalal has been transferred as SP Hamirpur.
SP Mandi MR Chandrasekhar has been transferred as Commandant Third IRB Pandoh.
Additional Hamirpur SP Hardesh Bisht has been transferred as Additional SP Kullu against vacant post, while Shimla Deputy State CID Sawaran Singh Shimla has been transferred as Deputy SP, SV and ACB Kullu.
Kullu Deputy SP and ACB Amar Nath Deputy has been transferred as SDPO Rohru against vacant post, the sources said.
Bilaspur ASP Saju Ram Rana has been transferred as Deputy Commandment First IRB, Bangarh, while Bimal Gupta has been transferred as ASP Bilaspur.
Shimla DSP (Vigilance) and ACB Virender has been transferred as SDPO Rajgarh, while Bhagmal has been transferred as Shimla DSP and ACB Shimla.
DSP first Battalion, Junga Vinod Kumar has been transferred as SDPO Kaza.
