Budget session of UP legislature from June 27

Lucknow, June 13 (UNI) The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh legislature will begin on June 27.

The Decision to convene the legislature was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mayawati here today.

The budget session would start on June 27. But its duration would be decided by the business advisory committe (BAC) of the house.

Earlier, the assembly had met for a brief three-day session last month when Governor T V Rajeswar addressed both the houses during the inaugural sitting of the 15th assembly on May 21.

Meanwhile, an orientation programme for the first time MLAs would be held on June 25 and 26.
