BJP condemns YSR's move to bring Muslim reservation Ordinance

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) The BJP today strongly condemned the move of Andhra Pradesh Government to provide religion based reservation for Muslims even after it was struck down twice by the state High Court and Supreme Court.

BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said the announcement of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy that he intended to bring an Ordinance was nothing but inspired by 'vote bank politics'. The BJP, he said wanted the reservation for all poor and needy people on the basis of poverty and not becuause they followed certain religion.
