Anand Mohan produces defence witness in DM murder case

Patna, Jun 13 (UNI) Former MP Anand Mohan and his wife Lovely Anand produced two witnesses each in their defence in much hyped district magistrate murder case, before a local sessions court here today.

Mohan's two witnesses hails from Dhanbad while Mrs Anand produced the other two witnesses--residents of Muzaffarpur district, before the additional district and sessions judge of Patna R S Rai.

Gopalganj district magistrate G Krishnaiyah was shot dead by a violent mob near Chhabra village on national highway in Muzaffarpur district in 1994.

Anand Mohan, Lovely Aanand, Vijay Kumar Shukla alias Munna Shukla and MLA Akhlaq Ahmad are among the several accused facing the trial.
