Woman with children commits suicide

Hajipur, Jun 12 (UNI) A woman poisoned herself and her two daughters to death at Ghazipur village under Desri police station in Vaishali distrct today.

Police sources here said Manju Devi, unable to cope with financial problems, committed suicide by poisoning herself along with her two daughters.

Police has sent the bodies for post mortem.

Meanwhile a report from Bhabhua stated that a homeguard shot dead a villager at Karmana area under Kudra police station in Kaimur district today.

Kaimur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar said Uday Singh posted at a police picket in the village, opened fire at Nandmohan Bind following some earlier dispute. The victim died on the spot.

The cop had been arrested and investigation was on.
