Retired army officer robbed of Rs 6 lakh valuables

Pune, June 12 (UNI) Cash and valuables to the tune of Rs six lakh were robbed from the house of a retired army officer today.

Chandrakant Yashwant Joshi, in his complaint with the police, has said he and his wife had gone out in the morning to make some purchases.

Unidentified persons had broken into the house during their absence and made away with Rs one lakh in cash and gold ornaments.
