RBI cancels registration of Sigma Capital

Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today announced that it has cancelled the certificate of registration granted to New Delhi-based Sigma Capital Finance Limited for carrying on the business of a non-banking financial institution (NBI), as the company has opted to exit from the business of NBI.

The RBI has initiated the cancellation of certificate of Sigma, effective from May 14, 2007, a RBI release said here.
