Police recover two decomposed bodies, girl killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) Four person died in separate incidents across the Kashmir valley during the past 24 hours, police said today.

Police said the body of 65-year-old Ghulam Rasool Lone was found under suspicious circumstances at Lastiyal Kalaroos in Kupwara district. The post-mortem was conducted during which no apparent bullet injury mark was found on the body, they added.

However, proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated to ascertain the cause of death.

A decomposed body of a man was found at T-Mode in Parimpora area on the city outskirts today. Police have taken cognizance and were trying to ascertain the identity of deceased.

An unidentified Tata Mobile vehicle hit a ten-year-old girl, Arzoojan, near her residence at Ratnipora in Pulwama district.

She died on the spot. Police have registered a case in this regard and launched a manhunt to nab the culprit.

A labourer, Khursheed Ahmad Itoo, died of electrocution while repairing a wire in an under-construction hotel at the famed tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
