Nikkei almost flat but INPEX, energy shares gain

TOKYO, June 12 (Reuters) The Nikkei average was almost flat on Tuesday but received support from energy shares such as INPEX Holdings Inc. after oil prices rose nearly 2 percent on news Saudi Arabia will keep OPEC supply limits in place until July.

The Nikkei share average was up 0.06 percent or 10.74 points at 17,845.22 as of 0001 GMT, and the broader TOPIX index edged up 0.17 percent to 1,764.20.
