Newly-wed couple killed as van hits two-wheeler

Chennai, June 12 (UNI) A newly-married couple were killed on the spot when a van dashed against a two-wheeler which they were riding at Guindy here last night.

Police said the deceased were identified as Ramamoorthy (25) and his wife Ms Gunawathi (22).

The mishap occurred when the two were returning home, police added.
