'Need to foster more business relations between Australia, India'
Nashik, June 12 (UNI) Consul General and Trade Commissioner for Australia Peter Forby has said India is an important trading partner of Australia and there is a need to establish more business relations between the two countries.
Mr Forby was speaking at a seminar on ''Doing Business with Australia'', organised by the Australian Trade Commission in association with the Nashik Industries and Manufacturers' Association (NIMA) here today.
The seminar was hosted as part of the Australian Trade Commission's ''Utsav Australia'' programme.
Mr Forby said Australia can provide value added competitive solutions and expertise both in traditional and emerging sectors for businesses in Nashik.
The seminar highlighted the value addition to businesses in Nashik through Australia's expertise in agri-business, food, wine, automotive and infrastructure -- that are also the strengths of Nashik.
The seminar also showcased the services offered by the Australian Trade Commission in Nashik in identifying potential Australian business partners, sourcing Australian technology, products, services and expertise, and in identifying Australian joint venture partners and investors.
