NCP rules out diferences in UPA over presidential candidate
Katihar, June 12 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) general secretary Tariq Anwar today ruled out any differences over selection of a UPA candidate for the presidential election.
NCP would support the candidate chosen by the Congress in this regard, he said.
Mr Anwar told mediapersons here that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was trying his best to evolve unanimous candidate for the President's post and had held discussions with the Opposition parties on the issue.
''UPA has sufficient majority for smooth election of its candidate to the post of President,'' he said adding that despite the fact, process for selection of unanimous candidate was on.
